Reporting to the General Manager of SETRAG and to the Group Security Director of Eramet, the Director of Safety, Railway Safety and Security is a member of the extended Executive Committee. He or she is responsible for defining, deploying and overseeing all safety and security policies across the company, through an integrated and consistent approach covering the following areas: Railway Safety Management System (SMS), Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Industrial and fire risk prevention, Security of people, train operations, sites and sensitive information, Railway policing and guarding arrangements. Define and implement the overall safety and security policy in alignment with Eramet Group standards. Ensure regulatory compliance of the railway system and industrial activities; maintain the Railway Safety Management System (SMS) and the General Safety Regulations (RGS). Drive the prevention of occupational, industrial and fire-related risks. Define and lead the security policy covering train operations, sites, assets and personnel. Structure and maintain emergency response and crisis management plans; play a central role within the crisis management team. Manage, upskill and develop the safety and security teams (approximately 126 employees). Represent SETRAG before Gabonese and international regulatory and institutional authorities.
